    You've got a rescue: 1...Re4!* 2 Rxe4 Qf8 and Black is even winning.

    I have to confess it took me a couple of minutes to get this, and then only because of the hint. Confronted with this cold I might well have resigned!

    Indcidentally, this reminds me of an error Khalifman made in the first round of the Aeroflot Open a day or two ago. Given the right conditions a rook can oppose another rook even without protection.

    * So I'm excited. Have Hubner sue me.
